THERAPY
We use ongoing diagnostic intervention to maximize outcomes, following natural patterns of development in language audition, communication, cognition.
Our goal is to guide families to integrate listening and spoken language into all aspects of daily life. This will include daily routines, imaginative play, music and singing, outdoor play, and literature.
Weekly auditory-verbal therapy:
Provided to adults, children and their families. Sessions are 50 minutes. (a 25 minute session may be appropriate at times)
Tele-intervention Services:
Listening and Spoken Language Therapy is also provided to individuals living away from the Denver Metro Area using a high speed internet connection and one of several tele-conferencing programs including: Skype, Facetime and Zoom.
We are thrilled with the success of this program and encourage families to contact us for additional information.
Speech, Language and Listening Evaluation:
This will include a comprehensive communication evaluation. We will assess auditory skills, receptive and expressive language skills, as well as play skills, early literacy components and overall development.
Functional listening evaluations are conducted to assist and help guide audiologists and educators to next steps with programming, equipment, adjustments, strategies and placement.
